The Real EphraimJF The Office is a bar (not an office). It’s on this list partly because I just love that name for a bar, but also because they have tasty food, a good happy hour, friendly staff and are in a great location...
www.tacomaweekly.com Tacoma and Olympia's alternative newsweekly giving you the best news, arts, culture and more. And that...
www.tacomaweekly.com Nachos: likely the best bar finger food of all time. Tater Tots: delicious, deep-fried square-ish bits of potato delight. Combine the two? Heaven. The Office serves its own version of nachos known as Office Nachos. Golden tots smothered in melted cheese, green onions and bacon bits, all topped like a sundae with a dollop of sour cream. This dish alone requires a visit. Go and get your greasy digits on the jukebox...
My husband and I were visiting Tacoma last weekend and happened into your establishment, "The Office." We had just left another nearby restaurant because of an unpleasant waitress (really, it was lovely weather outside and who wants to be working), and we thought we would give your place a try. We were very happy with the menu and, while basically empty, the environment seemed really nice and welcoming. The food was in fact delicious, but what set your business apart was the bartender, Bobby. Bobby was engaging, but not to an annoying degree, and he was available and friendly, again, not to an annoying degree. During our meal, another lady came in and by the time she left, she was stating that she was going to be bringing her "women's group" back with her as they are always looking for places to meet. Apparently, we are not the only ones impressed by your representative, Bobby. We had such a nice time at "The Office" on Saturday, that when we met my parents on Sunday, we returned to "The Office" for another fine lunch experience (despite the fact that I was really leaning toward Thai food). I thought you would want to know how well you are being represented by your employee. He seems to be the type that goes out of his way to make people not only feel welcome, but want to return. What can be better than that? A satisfied customer,
